Grit & Grace: Building a High-End Women’s Fashion Destination on Ossington, Toronto
Grit & Grace, high-end fashion boutique on Ossington Avenue Toronto
Taylor Contracting was honored to serve as the general contractor for the retail store buildout of Grit & Grace, a high-end women’s fashion boutique on Ossington Avenue in Toronto. Designed by store owner, and brand creator Penny Light, this project focused on combining elegance and functionality to create an inviting and durable shopping experience.
The scope included the installation of custom racking, designed to showcase luxury fashion pieces while maximizing display space. Durable high-traffic tile was installed ensuring the flooring could handle heavy use without compromising on style. A sophisticated custom checkout desk was crafted to align with the boutique’s aesthetic.
To enhance the customer experience, Taylor Contracting also designed and built changing rooms, complete with Arched entrance and stylish wallpaper accents to add character to the space. Finally, a striking window display stage was constructed to capture attention and draw customers into the store.
This project reflects Taylor Contracting’s commitment to delivering high-quality, detail-oriented craftsmanship. The result is a retail space that not only meets the demands of high-end fashion retail but also elevates the shopping experience for customers.
